Saturday 2nd of March 2024, the Norwest Christian College community has the opportunity to serve our area by participating in Clean Up Australia Day.

Where? We’ll all meet at Riverstone Anglican Church (on Hunter Street) to sign in and get briefed on where to go.

When? Please arrive between 9- 10 am to allow time to get signed in and sent out. Each group will spend about 30 minutes picking up rubbish. We will be finished by 11 am.

What do I need to bring/wear?
– bring gardening gloves to protect your hands
– wear sun safe clothes (hats, clothes which cover-up, sunscreen) and closed shoes (no thongs or sandals)
– bring yourself a bottle of water to keep hydrated.
– bring a willing heart and readiness for a good time together.

We will provide you with a garbage bag and a map of the street we’re sending you to.

NB: This event counts towards the Service aspect of the Norwest Challenge.
